About the Club
Orphan Assistance Fund
Based in Southern California, the Orphan Assistance Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the prosperity of orphans around the world. Our club at Pacifica High is working alongside this organization to help out children who are in less fortunate circumstances. OAFC-PHS will hold multiple fundraisers and events throughout the year to help contribute funds for children in need. We need YOUR help to make this possible.
Why this club was built...
Here in California, many of us have been lucky enough to not worry about finding food or clean drinking water in order to survive. Our basic necessities have been provided for us by our parents and guardians. We have access to healthcare and medical assistance whenever we need it. We often forget that there are countless of those who are far less fortunate than we are. With the Orphan Assistance Fund, we hope to spread awareness to people that there are orphans that need our help, especially during these testing times. We, as individuals and as a community, can use our privilege to aid those who do not have the same opportunities to thrive in life as us. We hope to touch as many lives as we possibly can. ♡

Dear OAFC-PHS Mariners.
After learning about the hardships orphans around the globe face daily and seeing how this current pandemic is compounding these issues, we decided we must take action to make a difference. The Orphan Assistance Fund is a startup 501(c)(3) Nonprofit that was founded in Huntington Beach, CA. Our ultimate mission is to organize fundraisers for orphanages worldwide in need of our help. Although we cannot help every single orphan out there, through this organization we hope to help as much as we can! Let us all lend a hand through these tough times!
